Aims & objectives
When Leianna Minty joined the reception team, the practice had just made the decision to switch plan provider. Here she shares her thoughts on the transition and working with Patient Plan Direct…
Why Patient Plan Direct?
Switching plan provider obviously involved some effort from our side, however we were given clear, concise and to the point training on what to say to patients and how to explain the move. This made all the team feel confident and the switch seamless.
The team at Patient Plan Direct offer so much support and it really helps that I deal with the same people every time I have a query. The client support team explains things well and we’ve built up a positive relationship with them. They are a pleasure to work with.
Switching provider really isn’t as scary as it might initially seem and we have no regrets. Alongside the huge cost savings we have made, we can now offer a more personal service that our patients really appreciate. We’re simply offering an almost identical product without having to pay for the big name brand.
Six years on since the move, the plans we now offer to any new patients sell themselves because the price point is so good. Patients ask us about our plans and all we need to do is sign them up on our easy-to-use portal.
